After Restylane® / Radiesse®/JuvedermTM
After your injection of a filler, the result are stable at 24 hours. There may be some bruising but this is uncommon. If bruising occurs understand that this probably will not occur at the next treatment. Do not massage the sites unless Dr. Johnson instructs you to. Understand that massaging the site may move or flatten the filler lessening the effect. Redness and swelling are a result of the injection and not the product. These two side effects should resolve within a few hours but may linger for 24 hours, depending upon how your body reacts.
These products feel firm when first injected. This will last for months and has no relationship to the duration of the product. Most patients will return as the product starts to wear off for a repeat injection so there is no interruption of the effect.
